Worship Service

Whether it's the less formal or the traditional worship that suits you, please join us.  At both services, often others will help us hear the gospel message through the special ministries of drama, puppeteering and other special music.  All are always welcome.

Communion: First Sunday of Every Month

Services

8:30 Worship Service (New Life)

At the first worship service there is a less formal experience with singing and praising God.  We enjoy the times when special music is presented to add to the experience.  As we grow, we feel the Lord is leading us in new directions and changing our lives in wonderful ways.

10:45 Worship Service (Faithful Follower)

Our later worship has the folks who experience considerable comfort in a more traditional or blended form of worship.  The Chancel Choir sings every Sunday, except during the summer when individuals and groups present special music.

9:40am Sunday School Classes

The Oasis (Kindergarten - 5th grade):  This is a rotational Sunday school where the children experience Bible stories through different activities each week, whether it be storytelling, crafts, drama, puppets, games, computers, etc. Don't expect a regular classroom setting. Come and enjoy first century Jerusalem and imagine walking where Jesus walked. Take a walk through the Marketplace. Experience Mary and Martha's Bed & Breakfast, Genesis Theatre, www.Jesusatyourfingertips.God or Making Disciples Carpentry Shop. This is a place where the children can be refreshed and revitalized through the love of Christ.

CLIC 220 (Grades 6-8):  "Covenant Life In Christ" (CLIC). 220? That's Galatians 2:20:  "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (NIV)

The kids will learn how the Bible lessons relate to today's experiences and life lessons for kids of this very impressionable age group. Come and join in discussions about the hot topics of today and how scripture speaks to those concerns.

The Attic (Grades 9-12):  This is a class for Sr. High students. This class will show teens how to survive life as a teen and learn that Jesus Christ is the answer to their life. They share their experiences and receive support from each other to make it through the daily trials and tribulations of a teen.

Young Adults:  Are you 19 or 20 or 30 something and looking for something more? We are a diverse class and are praying you will join us. Each week this class is led by Regina Jeffers and meets in the Chapel. Now and then the members of this class meet outside of church and enjoy some time together socially. This is a group that will always make a new member feel warmly welcome. We’re upbeat and have open arms and hearts! So grab a Bible and join us.

Christian Homebuilders:  The Christian Homebuilders is a Sunday School class for adults of all ages. Join us as we study the Bible and relate it’s Biblical truths to our everyday lives, families, and the world community. No matter what stage your family may be, small children, older children, empty nest, or no children, our class has something for you.

Becomers:  This class is for adults 65 and over. A wide range of topics are discussed.

Wesley Workers:  Wesley Workers gather in the Library to discern God’s word, embrace vital core values, and learn how to extend Christ’s witness. They are growing in faith together and take the "spirit of God" beyond the classroom. Come join them to rediscover and to reclaim the meaning of Christian community (and have fun while doing it!).

Nursery care is available from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm every Sunday morning for ages 0 - 5 or kindergarten age.  Lessons, games, snacks, and fellowship are provided.

Nursery Supervisor:  Rebecca Martin
