Grass Roots Ministries of Miami Valley, Inc., a non-profit charitable organization, is sponsoring our mission in Tanzania. We are currently in the process of building a Church, School and Orphanage in the Gamasara District of Tanzania. We currently have more than 30 orphans that we are sponsoring. The mission team meets every other month or as needed to select a mission of the month to which members of the congregation are asked to donate time and gifts. We support Bethel Churches United's food pantry and Covenant Outreach food pantry in Springfield. We donate household items to Methodist Mountain Mission, Red Bird Mission in Appalachia and a new church in Nuevo Progresso. We help support people in mission in South America and Children in Africa. We include Habitat for Humanity in our circle of giving. We're looking at new ways to be involved with "hands on" work as well as monetary donations.
