What an amazing weekend of love, sharing, fellowship, and teaching we enjoyed with Malcolm over the Memorial Day weekend! We had many guests from outside of FUMC, quite a few of those from out of state. We all made many new friends during the course of the weekend. Even though we had just met, it was as though we'd all known each other for years, coming together for a reunion. Many addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses were exchanged as well as tears shed when it was finally time to say "goodbye" on Sunday.
Now the good news!
Due to the overwhelming response during his May visit, Malcolm has graciously agreed to come back in 2009! We are tentatively planning on the weekend of March 27-29, 2009 for his next visit to FUMC. We are honored and thrilled that Malcolm feels so strongly about returning and, of course, we cannot wait to welcome him back. Likewise, we are looking forward to our reunion with all our new friends and to making many more new friends.
So, mark your calendars now for the weekend of March 27-29, 2009. Tell your friends and folks at your home churches and let's make this weekend another amazing experience for us all!
